It looks like our current environment is getting more palatable. Indoor dining is at 50% occupancy and hopefully the Colombo Club will be able to operate under the new guidelines soon.
There are still so many roadblocks, but we will be successful and work through these problems to bring our lives to a relatively normal state. We are learning as we go how to deal with the issues that this virus causes. As we are getting our vaccines, we can resume our Colombo Club Auxiliary meetings and start making plans to continue our speakers schedule and fun trips for our members. There seems to be a time of renewed awareness of being kind and thoughtful.
I do hope that these actions will carry over to the future and we respect each other and celebrate our differences. With Spring comes fresh hopes of bringing normality to our lives. Hopefully, everyone is getting their gardens prepared and planted so we can show we have learned new skills from this past year. Well, let us all get our vaccines and wear our masks and keep safe distances. Follow these simple guideline’s and along with our strong Italian ethics, we will be back enjoying each other and great food at the Colombo Club.
Che il Signore ci benedica e ci protegga.
