Hard to believe that we are mid-way through the 2022 year. Life was a lot slower during the covid era. The past two years were tough times. It seems that things now are as tough or tougher. Wage increases, food cost rising, government regulations all make business very hard to navigate.
We are doing our best keeping this Club of ours on a steady path. There are many people who have worked tirelessly to make this happen. This does not ‘just’ happen. So, when you’re at the Club make sure you reach out to everyone working and thank them for all they do. A tutto questo non succede solo. Quindi, quando sei al club, assicurati di raggiungere tutti coloro che lavorano e ringraziarli per tutto ciò che fanno.
In June we celebrated Father & Son Nights at the Birthday Dinners – and what a great time the dinners were. Seeing so many of the kids hanging with their dads was inspirational and gives us a picture of why we belong to this great Club. Vedere così tanti bambini appesi con il loro papà è stato fonte di ispirazione e ci dà un’immagine del perché apparteniamo a questo grande club. I was blessed to have my son and grandson in attendence. Three Nicks in a row – not sure the world can handle this! Thanks always to Billy Castel for supporting the kids with all the A’s stuff. Billy has been doing this for years. Very rewarding moments to cherish.
July brings us Family Nights at the Birthday Dinner on July 7 and 21 – another great event. Make sure you get your reservation in early. Remember we will not announce the second dinner until the first is solidly supported. I know this is an inconvenience, but we need to do what is best for the Club’s financial health. I look forward to bringing my daughter Christina. My Dad loved bringing Christina when he was still with us. Miss my Dad!
The Annual Golf Tournament is back, and we are close to selling out so if you plan to play it’s on July 25 at the Sequoia Country Club. Tee Prizes, beverages, lunch, golf, dinner and a 3 pound Molinari salami all for $195. All monies made go to our scholarship fund and support our youth and their education. If you can’t make it, and even if you can, become a sponsor and have your family and or business represented. Go online a sign up today before its too late.
On a personal note, I for one am working very hard to stay in touch with every family member as many times as possible. The business climate has changed, and it can get the best of you, but if you spend time remembering how lucky we are to be part of a loving family it makes what we think is a big deal small in comparison to what most important Family!! clima aziendale è cambiato e può avere il meglio di te, ma se passi il tempo a ricordare quanto siamo fortunati a far parte di una famiglia amorevole, ciò rende piccolo ciò che pensiamo sia un grosso problema rispetto a ciò che è più importante Famiglia !!
When you come to the Club, and we hope you come often, note that the ventilation system, especially downstairs, is working very well. Thank You Mark Amaro. After each event, the Club is being sanitized. Every precaution is taken to ensure your safety at the Club. If anything, we have a very clean Club. Semmai, abbiamo un club molto pulito.
