President’s Message
Ciao a tutti!
Fall is in full swing and so is the Colombo Club! October is always a busy month for the club with its ever-popular Sausage and Peppers Dinner menu. Please make sure to make your ONLINE reservations early for this event!
Additionally, we have our Halloween Party with fun and games for kids of all ages! Please make sure to come early as there will be many events to partake of prior to dinner…and, a pinata after dinner!
I want to highlight three progressive changes for our Club:
Web Site – We now have a robust web presence! We encourage you to visit our newly revamped website. You can order meal tickets, pay dues, read the newsletter, sign up for events, and much, much more.
Online Reservations – On-line reservations will be in full swing by November. We know change can be hard, so to that end we have a couple of events that will be on-line only to give you a chance to practice. The next opportunity to practice ordering tickets online will be October 9th. You will still be able to “call in” for these events; however, starting in November we want to encourage all of our members to make their reservations online. Please go to our website to check out the FAQ’s on how this will be handled.
QR Code for New Members – Do you have someone who would like to be a member? Have them scan the QR code at the club and fill out the application electronically.
On November 6th our newly appointed SF Consul General, Massimo Carnelos will be joining us for dinner! This is a great opportunity to hear from our new CG.
As always, if you’re considering volunteering at the Club, please see or email me! We are always looking for people to sell incentive tickets, tear tickets, hand out prizes. It’s a great way to become involved and only takes a little bit of time.
